New turbine plan raises hopes for 700 jobs

Officials are fighting to bring in around two thousand roles to the area by prompting Siemens to build a wind turbine plant in Lincolnshire.Council chiefs and business leaders say they're going to hold talks with the engineering giant after it was disclosed the firm wants to build on a site somewhere over the eastern or north eastern English coast. an £ 80 million factory.

" The council has however stressed a "longer-term view " is mandatory regarding the position of any eventual wind farms. Conservation groups are also watching to see what occurs next. But they assert the development offer is a vote of confidence in the wind farm sector.
