Inflation is dropping in South Africa

South Africa's annual inflationary rate in Feb slid to 5.7 p.c, down 0.5 p.c. points from Jan to come in the government's target ceiling of 6.0 %, the statistical data agency declared Wed. .Inflation has been steadily easing after rising into double digits in 2008 but longer-term troubles remain as South African regulators have authorized moves to double electricity costs over the next 3 years.
