The Indian Hostels Company, operating the Taj Group of hostels, will hire about 1,500 folk in money year 2010-2011 as the company adds about fifteen hostels in the upcoming financial.This year's hiring is noticeably higher when compared to last year when there were only 200-300 workers employed. We were doing only background probes like most other players in the industry, he claimed. Earlier, the company needn't always do a police corroboration of each worker that joined, he announced, implying that it now does. While Mr Shrinivas didn't give any explicit figure on how much the spend would have risen with these procedures in effect he revealed it might have gone up by Rs 1-1.5 crore only for corroboration.
