JAPAN'S unemployed rate stood at 4.9 percent in Feb , unvaried from the month before, in accordance with market expectancies. Info released today showed the rate of unemployment for men was the same as Jan at 5.2 percent, while the rate for ladies dropped barely to 4.4 percent, announced the ministry of internal affairs and communications.
There were 47 roles available for each 100 job hunters in Feb , up from 46 roles in Jan , the labour ministry declared separately.
Japan last year appeared from its worst post-war recession, growing in the second, 3rd and 4th quarters due to bouncing back exports, much of them to prosper China, and on the back of state pump-priming measures at home.
