Survey conducted by Morgan McKinley Ireland reveals that 2013 will be positive for professional recruitment market in Ireland as employers are expected to increase their headcount. The survey reveals that almost 55% of hiring managers here plan to recruit permanent professionals in the present coming year. Also, around 30% of hiring managers are planning to add entry level roles or graduate level to their present workforce. Ireland, just like United Kingdom, has witnessed high unemployment rate. It has been more than 14%, since September 2010 and even touched 15% in between. Though 2012 was positive due to good performance of Service sector, the overall hiring remained relatively subdued. With current unemployment rate at 14.6%, the survey findings have been successful in creating positive outlook for Ireland.

IWEA Claims Wind Energy Would Generate Ireland Wind Energy Association claimed that there is a possibility that around 30,000 jobs in the wind energy sector would be generated in Ireland. This would happen, only if the Government implements some reforms to the industry. Also, Enverian, a newly established Irish renewable energy company declared in the IWEA's Autumn Conference 2012 on 04 October, 2012 that it would be bringing 15 new jobs over the next two years.
