Residents in far Southwest Virginia will have the chance to sign up for 100 new technology-based roles for DirecTV, U.S.Rep. Rick Boucher, D-Abingdon, told today."DirecTV will operate a virtual call center in Southwest Virginia, hiring a hundred of our region's residents to serve as remote agents, " he claimed in a press release.Those employed will telecommute to take calls related to billing and account management, containing review of packages and pricing and account changes, according to the news release.
