Media Marin Disney studio shutting down, will affect 450 jobs
Disney is shutting director and producer Robert Zemeckis' ImageMovers Digital studio in Marin County, California, a move which will end in the loss of 450 jobs,The studio produces motion-capture animation, like that utilized in the 2009 movie A Yuletide Carol.
ImageMovers is completing production on Mars Wishes Moms, which is meant to released in March 2011 ; the tale points out that Zemeckis is also developing a 3D adaption of the 1968 Beatles flick Yellow Submarine.
